Description
The Eco-Counter Car/Bus MULTI is a complete innovation in vehicle counting. It is the only battery-powered system of its kind. This low-energy counting system has a two-year battery life, making it a great alternative to other high-energy products requiring convenient power access. The system detects the electromagnetic contact of each wheel, making it highly accurate for counting and distinguishing cars and buses.
The system uses two ZELT inductive loops to calculate the wheelbase of each passing vehicle – this allows the vehicle to be classified. The vehicle count data with classification is useful for seeing the number of visitors accessing the facility.
The Car/Bus MULTI system can be installed on roads with low traffic (e.g. access roads, state/provincial and national parks) to count and distinguish cars from buses. The counting system is watertight, battery-powered with a two-year battery life and automatically transmits data over the GSM/3G cellular network.
