Description
Offering a more flexible alternative to dot matrix technology, the ColorWorks C831 (GP-C831) combines the durability of a dot matrix printer with the benefits of ink, such as wider print media compatibility and higher quality prints.
Unlike dot matrix printers, the versatile GP-C831 can print enhanced barcodes, crisp text and photos, and various print materials such as glossy paper and labels. Whatever the print media, Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment ink delivers long-lasting prints that resist water, fading, stains and felt-tip markers.
The C831 has a durable body designed for high-volume, high-performance printing for up to five years. Patented Epson technology protects the printhead nozzles from dust, making the C831 suitable for use in demanding environments.
The C831 helps improve efficiency by delivering up to 19.7 pages per minute in Enhanced Draft mode and prevents paper jams by automatically releasing the paper in seconds if an error occurs. This function can be duplicated by manually removing paper at the touch of a button.
The C831 comes standard with parallel, USB and LAN 100/10BASE interfaces for easy integration.
